“I became insane,
With long intervals,
Of horrible sanity.”
Edgar Allen Poe
Every year, just about this time
I now begin to frighten my wife
She claims I develop Cabin Fever
She claims it gives her much strife
She claims I begin speaking in riddles
She claims, that I now forget to bathe
She claims, that I can no longer sit still
And, like a Wildman, I start to behave
So, each and every year, about this time
She now packs a huge duffel bag for me
Then, she walks me out to my old truck
And says, “Go set those Demons free.”
(She’s Native American,
And Quite Spiritual.)
So, each and every year, just about this time
I usually head off, with a dog or two, in tow
I plan on coming back, but I don’t know when
But she’s right again – my Cabin Fever has to go
Adios & Vaya con Dios,
To All in A.D., For Now;
I’m Off To Find a New Cave,
Or Perhaps, To Talk To a Cow.

Ed's going to the mountain
but he'll be back real soon...
Hmmm...is it me? Enjoy yourself Ed!
make sure you put some drawings on the wall -
for future generations to peruse your wisdom and wit.
and make sure there's a side, or anti-chamber,
wherein which - you and the dogs may ... POO-DOO!
