While our dear old Brother Jersey Devil Ed

Waits for all of those Care Packages to arrive

He has evidently taken pity on good old Rufuz

This dip in the washtub should get rid of any flies

He has even penned an epic poem about it

And he sent it, with this picture, to Tiger Lily

She sent it to Ma, Me, and Brother Edvard

Now, the entire Ed Family, is filled with glee

“I've had my springtime soak,

Ma said to do so, in egg yolk,

It will make your skin strong as oak,

Just after your soak, keep the yolk,

For that is how we make the best omelets,

This came directly from Ma, she loudly spoke

No bath do I need again, till mid-summer now,

Oughta be pretty ripe by then, or close to a cow,

So, you all can now leave me alone, about the odor,

Don't make me shoot you with Ma's old muzzle loader.”

With Love,

And Egg Yolk Kisses,

Brother Jersey Ed & Rufuz

Such truly heartfelt feelings,

In our ancient Ed family, today;

I can feel all the Ed love, in the air,

And a fresh Ed breeze, headin our way!

Fresh breeze huh? Of how many of those special omlets did he partake?
The atmosphere he will forsake. A foul wind he will break. Glad I'm on the west coast. Patrick

pee wee i'm so glad lil devil finally bathed, now i won't have
to threaten to tell ma how bad he was when he stole my friends
mescaline, (that's what he was on when he took that bath in egg yolks
heehee) would have loved to see that. I mentioned mescaline in a poem, and next thing i knew he stole it. if we ever have that reunion for the ancient Ed's there'll be lots of fireworks shootin off between us! Take care pee wee , you are my favorite(but don't tell the others;-)...tiger lily

As long as it keeps heading YOUR way, Lol! Omelet? I'd say egg-drop soup. But then, what do I know about down-home cuisine?
