Inspired by Brother Edvard’s Poem,
‘Brothers Ed, Ma’s Favorite Son’
Some Real Powerful Memories
It Brought, To Ma’s Second Son
Oh, what powerful memories, his new poem brought,
About those days, we spent in that old shack in the wood,
Our dear old Ma was always a smokin that big corncob pipe,
And old Brother Edvard was a belchin Moonshine, real good.
And Baby Brother Jersey, Baby Brother Jersey,
What a real Devil, he really was, way back then,
No matter what our dear old Ma tried to feed him,
He’d be a spewin that nasty Swamp Gas, agin and agin.
No wonder, I really liked sleepin in The Great Outdoors,
No wonder, all of those wild critters, became my best friends,
No wonder, Edvard’s poem brought back powerful recollections,
No wonder, I’m gettin choked up with them smells, all over again.
Oh, give me air, lots of air, under starry skies above,
Don't gas, and smoke, and belch me in.
Let me wander through the forest that I love,
Don't gas, and smoke, and belch me in.
Let me be by myself, in the fresh, evenin' breeze,
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees,
Send me off forever, but I ask you Please,
Don't gas, and smoke, and belch me in!
Sorry, I’m gettin too choked up, to continue,
And I’m a startin to cough now, real good,
So I just can’t write about this, no more,
I’m a headin off, for a walk in the wood.
Oh, give me air, lots of air, under starry skies above,
Don't gas, and smoke, and belch me in.
Let me wander through the forest that I love,
Just don't gas, and smoke, and belch me in!

Be always safe,

I let out those farts because Ma said I should,
She said you stunk inside cause of the same advice, you never would,
And she said she was afraid of Edvard(k) because he would someday become a hood...jersey
