Remember the 1998 movie, Armageddon?
A huge asteroid, the size of Texas, is on the way
A deep core drilling team, is dispatched to ‘nuke it’
And they have no idea, if they can really save the day
Many of us really laughed at the premise of this movie
And today, we now find ourselves, in the same situation
Yet, until recently, many were yelling, ‘Drill, Baby, Drill’
A slogan and an attitude, that today, has very little elation
Because of the extremely callous attitude, in our naïve nation
We’ve allowed Big Business to drill, over a mile under the sea
We’ve allowed them free reign, with no containment capability
And now, we don’t even know, what the outcome of this will be
What if, this untested idea of theirs, doesn’t work?
What if, this horrendous oil spill, cannot be stopped?
What will happen, to our Gulf and Eastern Seaboard?
What will happen, to marine life, and to our fishing crop?
An entire way of life, could soon be decimated – forever more
Entire species of mammals, birds, and fish – could be wiped out
Our once thriving Gulf Coast, could soon become ‘The Dead Sea’
And have we learned anything yet – this, I, for one, seriously doubt
Many Still Foolishly Maintain,
That Mankind Could Never,
Ever, Destroy Our Planet,
No Matter What We Do To It.

Think of this, the entire Archimedes' Principle of Buoyancy is based on Flotation in WATER - NOT OIL! Will heavily-laden vessels of steel simply SINK?

It's not armageddon, it's a plague, that will lead to economic crash, which leads to many other horrible things...Study crash of 29..Already the ecomomy is suffering because export/import cannot go on as per usual. Rev 11.18 is a good place to read, as man has done this, and God said he would destroy those who destroy the earth and it's inhabitants. It will bring on other cataclysmic events, laws, time of trouble as never before, and the the final events b4 Chirst returns, to save those who want to be saved.. This is my belief, my opinion. It's sad to see young teens in school coming home, freaked out, believing its all over bah the shouting, as the young minds fiercy comprehend, that our planet is in tatters and there is no hope, cept for intervention, divine intervention for those who believe.
Walt is right, the population will decrease, plagues pestilence, more earthquakes, until the we are so shaken to the roots, the core of our beings..Like a woman in labour, back to back pains, no relief, till delivery.
