Another Recent Christmas Pet Story,
In Which I Was Able To Participate;
About Another Compassionate Man,
And a Kitten With a Much Better Fate.

I recently received a telephone call
From a Good Samaritan I did not know
Someone informed him that I could trap cats
Would I perhaps help him with one in the snow
He told me that his business would soon be re-locating
And he had been feeding several cats in his parking lot
The mother and most of her babies, had sadly perished
Now, there was only one left - a very tiny, frightened tot
He didn’t want to leave this one starving orphan behind
But he didn’t know how he could catch her, in the snow
I quickly told him that I would bring him one of my traps
Off on yet another rescue mission, I would happily now go
It wasn’t very long at all, before this tiny, frightened, feline was caught
The man was ecstatic and thanked me, and he decided to name her ‘Noel’
I wished him and his adopted white kitten, a most Happy Holiday together
Rejoicing in the fact that one more orphan now had a home in which to dwell

Please Do Whatever You Possibly Can,
To Help Homeless Pets This Christmas;
So Many Of Them, Are Still Out There,
Without A Home, Or Any Holiday Bliss.
