Gotta love that photoshopped pic, as I saw the pic of the house and the dried out lake once before recently...but without the fire...which makes it so much more able to convey ur message...[found a beautiful dog today, but without the fenced yard they would not let me adopt him, he could have been Rufuz, almost]...e

going to be a hard to keep encouraged ... there is also spiritual drought we are simultaneously experiencing ...

Well we have been having droughts for centuries, I do not listen to ramblings of politicians about Global warming. It dates back to the the 1998-2004 western drought, three widespread and persistent droughts of the late 19th century, and past North American “megadroughts” that occurred between approximately 900 and 1300 A.D. The precolonial megadroughts apparently lasted longer and were more extreme than any U.S. droughts since 1850, when instrumental records began. Some modeling studies suggest that within a few decades the western United States may again face higher base levels of dryness, or aridity, akin to the 900-1300 A.D. period. But this is all a matter of normality as our world always goes through cycle of stages.

I am well researched (sorry to ramble on Mr. Ed)But snickering at your The Hotter than Hell July of 2012, Mr. Ed. Yes, it is hot, yes all prices will climb, that's politics... for the same reason I claim no party and am an Independent :)

In the meantime, we are paying the added cost in taxes because of their stupity, and greed, floods , hurricanes, heat, forest fires, and the beat goes on. When this excessive heat, melts the pole ice, when the salt that dumps into the current circulating the globe, when the Humbolt stream and Gulf stream slow down, or stop altogether, another ice age might be upon us, or maybe 2012 is happening this moment. Then you have the other greedy idiots that invent poisons, and strange crops, haven't seen a bee around my garden yet, despite the fact I planted stuff just for their use, and the beat goes on...... Bless ya for keeping us aware.

I was just reading about it last night. It does make you wonder about the future and how it will be for our children. Its the same here, drought and wildfires. What pisses me off is the idiots that deliberately start these fires here in the islands. Wonderfully written, Ed!

Yes, your rocket graphic is poised for what could become the blast off to end any future blast offs, as policy and law makers can only keep their heads in the sand so long before suffocation takes over... you know, that state of mind that feels like bliss for nano-second. Of course the cliche "almighty buck" still prevails and is rapidly becoming the "uber" pollution we can't seem to stop. Thank you for a blast of sense.

We had a vicious storm yesterday, it upended trees in 5 towns in Connecticut..It's been blistering hot this summer here as well. No relief, no hope for it to be cooling down either.

Not sure what Mother Nature has in store for us, but we better get prepared for a very cold winter...

Good eye opining write Ed. It sounds like history repeats itself as in the Dust Bowl and the days leading to the Great Depression. Everything has cycles. If this is one of them - are we prepared????
