Sun shining after days of rain and grey
Squinting eye looking at the lawn that's soaked
Ears hear the sparrows as they sing and play
Joyful seeing that spring has shed her cloak.
Winter succumbs before the longer day,
North wind takes flight returning to his fold
The golden arm from heaven spreads it's ray
Warming the earth and devouring the cold.
Trees breath the gentle breeeze that shakes the bough
Greenery, hide the nests that settle there.
Crops begin growth in earth that farmers plough
Fresh countryside spreads it's harvest to share'
The population seek to keep their health
When from the land they feed upon it's wealth
