Strange Sensations

by J. Allen Wilson — Read all 1,629 poems by J. Allen Wilson

With pain somewhat subdued, an acute awareness of things not there entreat my senses…very strange…but peaceful somehow… Thanks to all for your prayers.

Strange Sensations

Strange, but beautiful smells are dancing sweet in the air.

Its dead of winter, but there is a scent of flowers everywhere.

Auras of light now slowly shift across a silky gray haze

As the creation of the Creators conception,

separates into dual, yet insignificant illuminations of the day.

Sensations are now beheld from a time long lost,

and vibrations titillate the recesses of this weary mind.

Journeys and adventures of a vicarious youth manifest,

with benevolent treatises that reach out to taste the brevity of our time.

Unable to explain…I cede reason to that which has none.

I grapple no more and relieve myself with His will be done.

For it is by His grace that this day was made,

and someday, there will be an explanation

to the purpose of these trials which I now face.

So therefore, until that day which I shall greet,

I will consume the strangely sensations that are but mine to keep.

I love reading these words. How you have turned your life and trials over to God with such abandon. Beautifully penned.

everything has purpose ... sometimes we endure the pains of life so we can become stronger and more focused when the pain subsides ...

glad to hear you feeling better ...

A sense of acceptance and submission to God's Will permeates this
flowing and gentle composition
You will undoubtedly emerge the other side of these trials and tribulations, an even more spiritually aware person, and ever more dependent on the mercies of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Stay steadfast in the Lord Allen !
I am continuing to pray for your well being

There are only a few chosen and when we go through God is only trying to use you as a witness and a living real life testimony to others through your writing or whatever it may be. God bless on a lovely well written poem.
