Leah And The Snake Fight
Yep, that’s right, if it were Jim, it wouldn’t have been a fight.
For he like me would have tucked tail and vanished in the night.
Aye, but this was not so with my little Leah; so darling, so dear.
For she this night stood ten feet tall and conquered it all without fear.
She and the snake stood face to face and eyeball to eyeball.
She gave chase with the broom through the kitchen and down the hall.
She hit here and there, almost everywhere and then joined in China our cat.
The snake then stood straight up on the end of his tail, opened his mouth and spat.
Now this made Leah rightly pissed; the snake spat once more; the cat clawed and hissed.
Off with your head demanded my wife, I’ve had enough of you this day, this night.
So with My Maxwell House coffee dumped out in scattered piles across the floor.
Leah shouted “this it China; don’t look, this is war;” with coffee can overhead she let out a roar.
With a swoop and swish she slammed the can over the snakes head and then down.
She then climbed atop of the Maxwell House can and danced all around.
I got home from work about 30 minutes after the wild ordeal.
My wife then explained what happened and I thought “this can’t be real”
But real it was and real it is…if it had been me I think in my pants I would whiz.

Good for your wife, confronting the enemy and stomping it underfoot (okay, in a coffee can, but I bet it was flat LOL). Well done!
Now if I could confront my Stormfear...nah. Not yet ready to chase tornadoes...LOL
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
