The following poem was written for my wife Cecile and read during the renewing of our wedding vows last August. It describes the desperation of my heart before I met Cecile and finishes with prayer answered from above in the beauty that IS...not was Cecile. Just when we think there is no hope. Just when we think that God has not heard our hearts cry, God delivers as always in His time...My love for Cecile will never pass away and I am ever so thankful to God that He in His love sent her my way. He allowed me to cherish this special angel for a season; to hold; to love and to adore. Thank you dear God that you loved me enough to share the love of Cecile with me all the years of our days that we bore under the sun. I made her promise to me before she went back home to be with you that she would save me a seat at the table of the Lord...and I promised her that I would be there...and I never have broken a promise to her...I will see her again...I promise.
Fair Are Thy Hands
Fair are thy hands that hold my heart.
Genteel are they; delicate like the rose.
Days afore thee, this soul tarried in the dark.
Sorely abused; affliction inmost unknown.
Cauldrons black iron over open flame.
This my heart boiled in shadows of shame.
Prayers lifted from depths to the most high.
Supplications answered always in His time.
Second chances are given unto a new start.
Oh fair are thy hands that hold my heart…

You have my deepest heartfelt condolences for your darling wife. Words don't help much at a time like this, I will say I am so sorry. You will be in my prayers, that God will reach down His loving hand and ease your grief.

Again, in the midst of your sorrow, you reach out in comfort, to gather us in your arms and thank those who care for you. It is indeed an honor to know you, Sir. I stopped by Rhonda's page, and am undone by the beauty of it. Know you and Leah will never be forgotten.
I can't tell you to be strong; all I can do is tell you to lean on the Lord, Whose shoulders are big enough to get you through. Know you are ever in my prayers.
(((((HUGS)))))) and love, Karla.

Grief lessons but does not dissipate. I know I am going through grief still. It will never go away with me either. Glad it's o.k. to grieve. Do your grieving all you want. Let noone tell you differently.
