For A Man Named Joe

His eyes are upon you and His light shows you the way.

Though darkness and oppression gathers all about you,

His truth and His love that lives within shall forever stay.

Joe, oh Joe even though the valley in which you walk seems endless,

Even though the once bright skies have all but turned unto ashen gray.

You dear sir have something that many do not in that you have faith.

I know I seem not much to be the one to offer up these words so bright and fair.

As I…oh I from on bended knee constantly fight the principalities of the air.

Where there are times you seem only as one; tis not true for you know the Son.

You shall overcome this trial; and you shall come forth in praise with victory won.

For many Joe…many are the afflictions of the righteous…and the Lord God knows that you are one.

*Also there is another man….who shall remain unnamed.

He…deep in his heart seeks this truth…

but is uncertain on how to even pray.

*So for you who shall remain unnamed….God knows your heart

and he wants YOU to just walk and talk with Him this day.
