If I But had….

If I but had the wish of dreams that come on fallen stars.

I would dream the wish of peace for a heart so very afar.

If I but had a million bucks and many days without care.

I would build butterfly sanctuaries for a butterfly so dainty, so fair.

Yet all I have is this my heart of mine, a bit cracked and greatly worn.

Even still in this my heart rings whole and true , for of the spirit it is born.

Even of this the dark of night; thus born in silence on wings hushed in hope.

I pray little prayers of miracles and I concede my days to He who is in control.

Oh if I but had the wish of dreams….

Praying little prayers of miracles...but in the end, conceding my days to He who is in control.
In the end, that is all we can do, isn't it? I hope that your prayers for peace are answered.
