Someday If You Find Me Sleeping
Someday if I do not call; someday if your voice I do not seek.
Then come to me; come quickly, and seek, say a prayer for me, yet do not weep.
For it shall be the day in which my heart shall rest in the womb of eternities sleep.
For to each there is an appointed time whereas we all must lose our dream.
So if you should come and find me sleeping hold no sadness, but rejoice.
For this my time has come, just as the flowers of spring blossom only to die.
So it shall be with not only me, but all, and so be it with you in your God appointed time.
Therefore if someday you find me sleeping, remember one thing… the sum of my love for thee.
For I will always through the veil of time by heart of joy your face that I see.
Thus as I chase the clouds, as I dance in fields of gold, I shall always in your heart remain.
Just as the flowers of yesterday wilt and die, yet the seed of true hope always stays.
Nevermore should our hearts be burdened by the prospect of the unknown.
For in God almighty our life’s paths are in His love precisely, and delicately drawn.
Hereunto, if someday you shall find me sleeping; think of the sweet flowers of the field.
Recall the winter harsh afore and think of the coming spring… and I will be there.
I will be the song on the meadow green; I will be the whisper in your ear on the wind.
For I shall always be; I will in spirit live, and I will sing in a land with no end.
