Poem Artwork

Snow Blind

White madness blows upon the tempest of dreams.

Coldness born of bitter words chill the soul.

Ice forms on swollen lips; cracking; bleeding, pouring

into dead and dying streams.

Frozen and macabre is this white netherworld

Which lies beneath the snow banks of time.

Impetuous; sometimes delusional are the days

When caught between two worlds…

Heaven and hell.

Captured and cold, shattered and snow blind.

"Captured and cold, shattered and snow blind" -
Jailed in this world we hide behind.

But when we let the sun rise into the drifting snow
Oh what wonderful places our hearts can chose to go. . .
