For Ed Matlack…I Thought You Yanks Were Tough?

All I ever hear from you are cuts about the south from the great white north,

All about how we can’t handle a little bit of snow for what it’s worth.

Yet I can’t help but smile when I hear they shut down football for awhile.

Yep, there was no game in Philly because they received in snowfall a total of 4.8”.

Now I understand that where I live in the south that we only got a measly 3”.

Yet less than 100 miles north from my place some mountain towns got 28”.

I understand that Jersey though got quite a bit of snow.

Therefore I will concede to the Jersey Devil that I know.

But don’t laugh at the south no more when I see the mighty yanks slipping and sliding by the shore.

At least with our little measly 3, we were able to drive and not from a football game flee.

So Eddie M…If the yanks are that tough, then why are they still flocking to the Sunbelt...is it that rough?

Is it because you can no longer take the cold, or is it because you are getting old?

There is no need to fear if you should in late life venture here.

Contrary to what you continually to me say… for all basics we no longer have the KKK.

You call us rednecks’, you call us names, yet we are peace loving, for if we weren’t…we would not let you stay.

So quit your whining lest to you I say…

Dear sir…do you want a little cheese with your WHINE…

Or should we just allow you just a little more time?
