Shadow of Sorrows

Baby, oh sweet baby, what sadness life has given to thee.

Years upon years, built upon and surrounded with fear.

Yet I pray now with thee, fear no more when you are with me.

For when I hold you close to me, I sense so much…I feel your fears.

But know now my love that shadows of sorrow no longer walk by your side.

Know that by the grace of God, his gentle hand will wipe away your tears.

And together both you and I will with God always…always abide.

Yet know this now deep… so deep within your ailing heart.

I’m with you forever until and only by God’s calling should we part.

So fear no more baby the shadows which once walked your way.

For my love for you is sure and I will hold your heart in my hand every day.

Not an hour should pass when we are apart that I should not keep you in my heart.

So smile sweetheart as we look lovingly at the wonderment of the full moon.

Know that within twenty-four hours that hand in hand we will stroll the night beach.

We will feel the presence of our love, and experience our communion with God.

For this today I say unto thee…HE, the Lord our God has blessed you in our union with me.
