You served our country in a difficult time.
You served with honor when the world was falling apart at the seams.
A man amongst men; a soldier, a giver of life and in your passing I mourn.

The years after NAM you never lost who you were.
You remembered your roots and your dedication served many far and wide.

On 12-11-2013 you cast your last breath.
Thousands will mourn your passing,
But Uncle Leon you are free at last.

The works that you did while on this simple clinging world in which we live hath surely put stars in your crown,
As Jesus will with surety say
”Well done my faithful servant, come and sup with me this day.”

You fed the hungry, you clothed the poor.
You gave and continue even after your passing to do the same.
You were a gentle and sweet man
And long will live your name.

Thus now to you this gentle man.
As I and many bid you farewell as you cross the river into the ‘Promised Land’.

You my dear Uncle made your mark.
Glory awaits you as we,
The still mortal walk in the dark.

I close Dear Sir with this final quote
For Jesus hath said…
“A good name is better than riches or gold”.

You shall be missed and we love you so much.
Say hello for me and ask Jesus to instill in our hearts your loving touch.
God bless you Sir,
But I’ll see you again.
