The Oceans Tide Song

I lie beneath the sands of time.
I hear the calling of the sea.
She calls for me, she calls for me…

1000, 10,000 years I know not,
But the tide awakens me today.
As she continues to call my name.

I hear the sirens call as she sings softly to me;
Slowly I climb my way out of the dune in which I lie.
‘Come unto me, she sings. Come unto me.’

God’s speed and rest in peace she now sings to me.
‘I will tend to you and you to me.’

Goodnight to all those I love, and never for me grieve...
For me and the sea are at last at peace as one.
‘For I am in the sea and the sea is in me.’
