Ebbs of time linger upon the endless sea,
amidst mingled lines of love drawn of surety.
Crimson hues, gave unto shadows hidden clues,
Of a love that remains shackled in the timorous mind.
Oh endless sea, with ever cleansing tide,
Wash away these salty remains of love that died.
Swiftly now with your dark and murky way,
Swallow this heart that was sorely betrayed.
Carry it with ever constant flow,
down to its watery death below.
Where nevermore to surface again,
Nor inflict with mortal sin.
For sullen are the remains of this passing day,
as ebbs of time in silent rhythm slip away.
Casting stones upon this broken shore,
Leaving mingled lines of love forevermore.
