Hearing Again

This was inspired by an experience today that I will always remember. My only sister, Marge, was rewarded for her mental and physical suffering over many years. A malicious monster named Meniere's disease induced total loss of hearing in her left ear. A hearing aid in her right ear provided partial hearing over the years. Today she received reprieve from an embarrassing existence in the form of a tiny hearing aid the size of a Pinto bean. God Speed, Lil' Sis! Enjoy your miracle.

*Tonight is the climax of our many dreams.* *Marge got a gift from our King of all means.* *A spiffy Beltone for her ear that is deaf* *To amplify her hearing that has long been bereft* *of conventional hearing she has missed for so long.* *She had the feeling that she did not belong.* *Now she is happy as a Queen on her throne.* *She is part of the group and no more feels alone.* *I am happy for her as you plainly can hear.* *Her feeling of aloneness no longer has fear!* Copyright © Just (Jubilant) Jim 2011
