Deep down where sea urchins peek 
Pointing fingers touch then quail 
shrinking back from strange physique 

Watching, curious at your passing 
Mocking pallid human form 
Shadows casting, darkly masking 
Shifting calm before the Storm 

Predatory current quivers 
Murky grey comes into view 
Sea life slides away and shivers 
Grey glides by the salty stew 

All at once the Trepidation 
Momentary fear of end 
Fades away to liberation 
Triumphant bubbles soon ascend 

Anemones with jewel bright faces 
Once again are on display 
Rainbow fish resume their chases 
Through surrealistic floral spray.
