Sometimes 'steamy' is the only way to go :~)

Poem Artwork

Glistening form with scent of musk

Pauses shy to catch my gaze.

Liquid limbs, in slender strut,

Seductively divert in ways

that only she can commandeer,

As deep inside I feel the pull,

Wanting her to feel my touch

and taste my kiss. She’s beautiful!

Longingly, as robe is dropped,

I look upon her sinful flesh,

Imagining the fiery joy,

as she and I, as one, enmesh.

She slowly turns and smooths the cloth

Of some delightful filmy sheath,

which drapes her contours perfectly

Yet verifies what’s underneath.

I softly trace a subtle line

beneath one warm enticing breast

My fingers brush against her, slight.

She gasps, as deep desire’s expressed.

Her body leans in to my touch.

Her breath lays soft against my skin.

I seek her full seductive mouth…

Command her lips to let me in.

Guide her back into recline,

Her shapely legs against my own.

Trail fingers light ‘cross slender hips

Until I reach her thigh. She groans.

Gently lift that filmy sheath

And bring my knee between her thighs

Take my touch to sacred place

And stay my hand until she sighs

Taunting; nip her shoulder, bare

Feather-kiss each breast in turn

She squirms and writhes beneath my lips

As inner flame ignites and burns

My touch becomes a firm caress

Her sighs, now come in eager moans

And I respond to tiny pleas

Expelled in urgent breathless tones

Descend to taste the sweetness found

At hidden depths of love’s embrace

Delight in reckless cries of lust

Which lead my fingers to retrace

Til finally, I grasp those hips

And pull her to me, loins aflame

I penetrate her sacred heart

And grind her body, laying claim

Together, riding passion’s quest

Her limbs, wrapped round me, hold me tight

Hearts pound in synchronicity

As heat intensifies to white

Our glistening forms reach out as one

To grasp that ultimate surrender

My pleasure’s rapt, my body thrilled

To feel her soar in all her splendour

Meet at last bewitching smile

Which permeates and so disarms

Ultimately come to rest

Enshrined, entwined, in lover’s arms.

I agree with Ron...all the emotions are laid out...absolutely one of your best, Ruan.

I found this piece to be so delicately yet sensually written...
It possessed an atmosphere of love and desire that was almost tangible...
Finely expressed...

Sizzling.
Methinks Ruan has found her second wind...
and now, who would dare to rein her in?

I like "steamy." You need to go that way more often. You certainly know how to bring things to a climactic ending where the world is all right again. Simply wonderful.

Near the beginning, you use a word that has some negativity, "sin." I might suggest that you insert the word lust or its equivalent because there is nothing simple about the body you are describing.

A strong dedication to the poetic nature of sensuality. Well done.

It is a well-written, beautiful poem. Each stanza outshines the preceding one . . .
