That magical moment, when the paradigm shifts
and all that once stifled, now turns with the tide;
When the darkest cloud present, now lightens and lifts
and a common sense cure can at last be applied.
While foolishly fighting to lead truth astray,
they've sown all their seeds, but no ploy there has grown.
They've blown all their bugles to rally affray;
and finally revealed what one always has known.
So I'll watch for my dawn with a brave bated breath
and I'll pray that the long hoped-for time is now nigh;
when those negative forces sink deeply beneath
great suffuse sands of time, which they cannot defy.

A powerful message that I believe I understand. So many seem to choose denial over the truth, slowing the progress of humanity greatly. Beautifully written in the sands of time.

Without looking in the dictionary, I've always wondered what "bated" breath meant. Is it holding one's breath waiting for a time when it can be released? Probably the correct answer. Or is it a kind of baited breath, that draws dogs and repels other humans for its offensiveness… Probably not, but interesting to consider. ;-)
