Spirit tugs against her bonds, the man-made chains which hold her fast. Perhaps, with nature's help, they'll break and once again, she'll sail at last. She tugs again; her halyards flail. Such dreams are Spirit's holy grail.
A wonderful piece of personification. One rarely thinks of such aspects dependant on nature and less on man for its freedom. There is so much life even in the forgotten.
A wonderful personification or allegory for anyone who is encumbered by circumstance and waiting for some kind of hypothetical "storm" to alter the situation and free up whoever's in bondage. Great job. You really have a gift for nautical nomenclature.
