Shining The Windowpanes Surrounding His Heart By Handsum-Hart
The tiny rivers of emotional water Falling slowly in painful waves Over the whites of her sad eyes
Is the cleanser he uses To shine the windowpanes Surrounding his heart Until they outshine The shining clarity Of a diamond with flaws of none
So clearly she can look Into his heart and behold How much he loves her Especially when her eyes Have forgotten how to swim And are drowning in sadness

I am awash with sadness after reading this poem, HH. I think we all wish that we could save those we love from ever feeling sad, but alas, it will never be so; so we die a little death with each of their teardrops. Fantastic write!
Take care,
Sherry
