Though my father's earth-time Has expired The love he shared with me Has no expiration date It still lives on in my life In so many ways
It’s the fragrance upon my skin That cannot be washed away
It’s the cluster of florets Forming the pretty flowers I give to my mom On Mother’s Day
It's the uncountable reasons My heart enjoys loving a woman
It’s the rose of bravery That isn't afraid of old man winter And blooms in my snow-covered garden Showing me that anything is possible For those that are brave
It’s the beautiful light Illuminating in my poems That I shine on you
My father's undying love Lives in me and I like the man It has helped me become
BLESSED HEALTHY MIND HAVE THOSE THAT LOVE THEIR IDENTITIES IN THE MEMORY OF THEIR BELOVED ONES.
