What a visual, tactile, and delightful picture of winter and all things snowy. I get the "booty" thing. It's what some people wear over their shoes--I'm almost certain of that. Fantastic poem!
And I thought "booty' was dirty money, loot, pillage, plunder, prize, or swag. Love winter though. Especially the silence of it. We have to go to the mountains to experience it here in SoCal.
