To live each day with mindfulness and poise
one needs to calm the noises of this world
and slough the needless moments of worry
that come from negative patterns and traits
Take a positive approach to life, fill it with
gratitude and hope, for a better tomorrow
When you are listening, truly listen do none else
When you are eating, bite it slowly and enjoy it
When you are seeing, see only the beauty behind
Live a life of purpose, take an open minded tour
Slow it down, clean it up, sort it out, make it count
Life is not to be rushed its to be tasted with joy
Send a message to your brain, "do it mindfully"

You have parodied my way of living. I like to partake of food one bite full at a time and really savor poetry before I read on. Unfortunately, now that I am sometimes fed by others, I find them forcing me to eat fast and not enjoying my food like I have eating by myself.
Lovely advice that we should all follow, although admittedly, it is perhaps easier said than done. Life does get in the way, somehow, with its trials and circumstances that are unexpected and wearisome, but definitely a positive outlook seems best.
Difficulties (in ones life) are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is meant to grow strong in conflict. Staying positive through it all can be quite difficult though. The mind gets weary, and the heart gets broken at times. Hopefully, one can make art with the pieces afterwards. A wise piece of advice, Vienna.
