They told me you were nothing more
then a fetus aborted and that your heart
was no longer beating like it should
where to my baby, where to ?

I had dreams for you and I precious & dear
but 8 weeks of life is all you had my babe
I wonder where that God is now and why
he took your life away, at sunsets glow

The cradle will be empty come December
and my arms will not forget the ache
my heart is torn in two, my minds an ember
where to my baby, where to ?

They told me to go home and wait for it
Ten days of holding you inside oh how I cried
You never had a chance to see the day but I ,
I will remain strong , I must this May

Cuz heart that break to mend and in the end,
I pray that your an angel watching to defend
My mind is torn in two, my minds an ember
