A Poem About Hope And Living Through

Poem Artwork

Leave it hanging in the stars leave it round the bend
sometimes forgetfulness can be a real God send

Entrust it to the moon above to an ocean full of Grace
velvet memories, regrets, evaporate without a trace

Live in knowledge it is safe you can trust the light ,
relegate confide in Hope, before the end of night.

"Leave it hanging in the stars leave it round the bend"

I felt at peace just reading your first line.

I love the easy flow to "Before the End of Night".

Beautiful poem.

Good advice in a poem. It is nice that we have a natural tendency to forget the bad and remember the good. Besides, what is keeping us from having a beautiful future except dragging thoughts of the past that are meaningless going forward.

Very unusual blending in this poem. It’s like a little journey in word-count, but a whole lifetime in content. This would not have its power, in my eyes, were it not fusing fragments to each other without punctuation separating them. So it swished over me in a very pleasant way, like the waves in that remarkable painting. There is a relieving element here that infers ‘letting go,’ and I always like that kind of message. Thank you for your postings, Mystic Rose. ~~ djl

Indeed, the night, especially after the midnight hours until before its end, harbors a moody trustfulness. Your poem embraces that beautifully.

Love the photo and how your words wrap around it and embrace it.
