I am very much the same way, although you seem to allude to in your poem to a place of beyond this life where there will never be anything blue.
If I die soon, everyone will be happy around me and my partner will be ecstatic with joy. If I die much later I may see those close to me die and leave me. And melancholy may come into my life.
If this needless war started by a madman in Europe spreads throughout the world, I will be blue for everyone caught in the crossfire of harm because of it.

Well done and well expressed, a dream most of us all have. Covid stole two years from everyone...and I doubt if it will ever be the same but maybe we learned a lesson on how valuable time...and love really is.
