A poem about how we treasure our memories and those we have loved and gone before us :)
Quote By Author: Yesterday's joys are never quite forgotten for they live in our hearts,
same way memories of past loves remain nestled in our souls forever...

Inside my yesterdays I dip immersed in joys and sorrows
I can often relive the moments of my youthful tide
with satisfaction and great pride;
Within the walls of Jericho I was baptized with love,
cherishing each step of the journey with what was and is yet to be.
Innermost treasures I have kept in store,
rare gifts that were given to me. I unraveled each and every one,
sharing breath with those I came to meet along the way...
Inside my yesterdays I dip immersed in joys and sorrows,
remembering those that came before me,
for it is there that lies the grand canyon moments of our
treasured lives.
It is the moments when we are able to kick back and gaze at the slide show in our minds of past "joys and sorrows" and "past loves"..........oh, yes........past loves.
"Remembering those that came before me" hit home with me, dear Mystic Rose. I am still grieving the recent passing of my dear husband so am immersed in sorrows but also in joys. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely poem with us.
I've had more than my share of grand canyon moments, a couple of them at the Grand Canyon. Where, peering into the precipice, gathered another memory that I can cherish today.
