I Will Be Your Doting Daughter
Take me to the water once again
where seashells are cradled
by the soft lull of shore's end
sitting contented and ladled
At the seaside two discarded oars
traded in for a summer jaunt
across the waters, a dormi d'or
waving at an early morning font...
Lead me to God's paradise on earth
and dip me in the waters blue
for I am a Piscean girl at birth
and I'll know just what to do
When you glide me into waters
deeper than the ocean floor
I'll be a doting good daughter
just open me the door.
Why am I attracted to the water? I swim almost every day, try to go to the ocean once a month, and stare at the river as if it were the first time I saw it. Yes, the water is God's paradise on earth. Let us love God for creating it for all to enjoy! Well done! Amen X 110!
Water is our source of life. Our blood is very similar to the seawater of our origin when we found out how to breed out of the water and came ashore bringing our seawater with us in our blood.
Our search for another, as Carl Sagan elegantly stated, "small blue dot," is one of our greatest quests as we wonder about the star filled sky. Earth is blue from space because our rocky planet of mostly molten iron contains water. And much of the rock is limestone made up of the very sea shells you wrote about in your poem.
Yes, we are drawn to the ocean and you: proclaims that in spades.
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
