I stand at my transparent protection
golden warming libation in hand.
Watching out at fluffy crystaline flakes
falling in masses from high up above
covering all that is to be seen.

at rolling the frozen into large orbs

Small balls they make into ammo to throw
at each other while they sled down the hill
with out a care to the cold they are in.
She stands beside me watching this scene
a loving smile beams from across her face
I hug her close to me and peck her cheek.
Before turning to go and climb the stairs
up to my desk so I can jot what i've seen.
