You are that, where I live
my heart, soul and essence
center and whole of me.
The paths I have traveled
to be in your pressence
have been long, arduous.
There were choices taken
and options born of sense
that stripped away my worth.
Your loves given me back
the me I'd forgotten since
the boy, the man that was.
