When first we spied these tall pink beauties
undulating in warm soft breezes. Journeying around time after time
up and down along mountaineer lanes. One could not be found who knew thier name
so we said "Pink Flowers on a Stick". Some knew of which we inquired
but they and others blundered as well. As we felt, elusive they would stay

My mother pinked me to death when I was young...
However, I overcame the distaste and find she must
have known something I didn't... Now, although I rarely
use this color I find I don't look half bad in it...
I have never liked the color pink since I was a child and had to chuckle at the name "pink flowers on a stick"/ Yhis gave me cause to smile this morning, love your photo

Perfect and lovely colour of pink these Belladonas. A softness
of your words in poetry to grace this "mystery."
A gentle stroll of a delightful journey you take us on, along those mountain lanes in your quest.

my son in law planted them as a gift w/out telling me...he calls them simply 'resurrectiion flowers'. i'm in the atlanta suburb

When I lived in Virginia, these beautiful flowers were on the drive to the house. Amazing flowers of beauty standing tall and very proud..
Always like reading your beauties!
Blessings..
