The blues and my solution.

Poem Artwork

Abstract adversity
Senses faded
Casting shadows
A case of the blues

Wanted seclusion with
Lone indulgence
Pulling out of
Emotional ruse

Fin'ly a glimpse of light
Welcome figure
Passing eclipse
I'll buy some new shoes!

Jane, great poem and I agree: A wonderful way to shake the blues is to buy something, like shoes!
