Poets hear a different drummer (thank you Thoreau!)
Ever since I remember
I loved to rhyme
Making walkie talkies
Back in time
It was before September
We used clean oatmeal boxes
A bit of twine
Talking foxy woxies
Life was fine
I really do remember
I outgrew the gang
A childhood gang bang
So I wrote the stories
So sublime in my mind
I see the games that
Came time to time
Place your jockies
Please place mine
My love a burning ember
But we were kids at that time
You never knew that I played
Just wanting to see
You looking at me
That's the reason I stayed
But you stopped lookin'
You motha hunchin' cold soul
I needed to get warm
And I got warm in another form
I outgrew the gang
A childhood gang bang
So I wrote the stories
So sublime
With you I had it made
"Milk Milk Lemonade" (dedicated to Zac Hudak "smack smackk"!!!!! LOL!!!
