When I am down you lift me up
When empty then you fill my cup
You mean the very world to me
Without you dear where would I be
I've met some people who are fake
They act the part for goodness sake
Acting as if they really care
But when I need them they're not there
True friends are gold the fake ones rust
I've learned who I can truly trust
The ones who have walked in my shoes
They know because they've paid their dues
Now back to you my one true friend
I know you'll be there 'till the end
When all the rust has blown away
Your friendship will forever stay
A true friend is a rare gem. I have better friends on the den then others I see frequently. You, my friend are one of them. Yes, Jane you are a rare gem!
You have a way with words. What a great writer you are. Everything has this meaningful touch. People need a friend like you, they are very hard to come by...
