To map trails thine
How dare it be
To you do

I hate control
It hurts my soul
Don't try it now
Tell you true

So now it's past
For it won't last

Great advice Jane! I am reminded of lines from a Shakespearean play where one of the characters,Polonious, says this to his son Laertes: "To thy ownself be true,then it follows as night the day, that thou then cannot be false to any man!" Were he a real person living today, I believe he'd say what you said in this poem: "Be you!"
