This poem is about a heartbreak I recently experienced.

Poem Artwork

There have been days that sunlight shone
Within my heart a love had grown
Dark clouds cover it up today
Perhaps some rain will clear the day

The light'ning crashed the thunder rolled
Happens during a storm I'm told
Her words hurt so she went away
Taking my sunshine my dismay

Hoping this storm will clear the air
Her temper like the tempest's share
Feeling the rain drops so I know
New seeds of love are sure to grow

YOUR ASSURANCE THAT ' NEW SEEDS OF LOVE WILL GROW...IS THE ANTIDOTE FOR THE DISMAY THAT WILL GO AND CANNOT STAY. THERE'S NOTHING SO INSPIRATIONAL AS A PERSONAL WORK, ENJOYED AND THANKS FOR SHARING, JANE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Your dismay is my dismay; you do not suffer alone. But it will pass as all things do. Sometimes truth is painful, but it is better to know the truth. Wishing for a happier day, or as I wrote in a recent poem, "wishing for a miracle."

Hope the rain,
clears the air.
Take some time.
to yourself be fair.
Love can lift you high,
or knock to the ground.
But the sun will still come up tomorrow,
and new love waits to be found.

Hope you are okay?
That is the way to stay,
Other people can be jerks,
Karmically one day they will pay. -e-

The tenacity of love is forever one's most precious ally with both founded and unfounded hurt. Yes, storms are both a natural way and a metaphoric way to clear the air.
