I believe in fairies, where I be if I lost my childlike beliefs in such magical beings? Thank you for this delightful write, Jane. Love and best wishes,
Hi Jane, this is adorable. I know I'm behind in reviewing you works. Having some medical problems ut will try and catch up. Enjoy this Christmas season with all your heart.
It's easy for a little girl sitting in the meadow at mid-summer with all those "things," flying around to think of them as being fairies. And, in midwinter, while walking down a neatly clean sidewalk with high snow banks, dressed up in her winter warmest, with a red nose and frosty breath, to imagine the snowflakes filtering down through the streetlights and the magic colorful lights of many decorations to think of them as fairies.
Christmas wouldn't be the same without the fairies, as you have made abundantly clear in this charming seasonal poem. I do believe, Jane, believe me, I do.

I believe in the spirit of Christmas,
the joys of a child are never lost.
Christ is not just a story,
he is Lord and Savior,
and He is the real deal!
Amen!
