Early on, while writing and arranging songs of my own, I ran into a song writer, John Lopo,now deceased, who wrote the lyrics to, "Good-by City Good Bye World" who believed in my stuff.

There is a mystery in the creative timing process. I have noticed that musicians, writers and artists can write on a similar subject at the same time. Almost as if all being sent inspiration from an army of muses on another dimension. Therefore, it is very important to grab that inspiration and work on it the second it comes.
On plagiarism, which is, of course, a completely different matter, there is no excuse and definitely no forgiveness.Once published online or on paper, copyright laws apply. All creation should have an electronic footstep.
This write is sad. Unfortunately, it is a topic that should be discussed more.
I found one of my poems on Google under an ad for vacation packages. At first, I was excited to see my words. Then I realized that the person had stolen my words for their business without asking. My words.
No one is a true "originalist" when it comes to words, or songs, or ideas, or gadgets, or things that go bump in the night. You might say that we are all drawn toward each other as we seek to find our uniquenesses. Now I forgot what I was thinking about.
With so many forms of plagiarism, one is not surprised to be made aware of another, a creative soul being robbed of probably his most cherished asset. Thanks for the reminder.
