Life is too short to argue, fuss and fight, seems that is from a song or like that, but either way, I am too tired to deal with such worthlessness...

Poem Artwork

Nobody Wins…

Not too long have I to live,

Per the doctor, another year, another ten, so long,

She has no idea; I have no idea, now all I want is to be left alone…

Instead I get myself embroiled in a catfight, so rare,

I rarely ever even argue, especially with someone of the sex so fair,

But boy did I do it this time; my mind is awash with visions of glare,

Once before I did so as well, on this site, another writer so fair,

We did it up, we fought and both lost, as this time, no flair…

So herein I am here to apologize to the one I did so this time with,

I have not got it in me to argue any point that seems so worthless,

No effort have I got to continue the fight, to even drive home my plight,

As my problems are just that, mine, my body can’t even fight them off,

I don’t want to give up on writing on this site, I like it, everyone too…

So before I do go into a coughing spasm and cannot go on,

I will let you do what it is you do best, review as you will,

Bend me over and beat me so black and blue,

I don’t much care anymore, & I think neither would you…

Like it Ed, from experience I found as you get older squabbling is such a waste of time, as they say lifes to short. Anyway everyone hss to be entitled to a point of view, whether we think it right or so wrong, if we all listen, then the goodness in people must be the winner in the end.
