A new category for me, hope you enjoy it, hope I picked the "right" category...ed

Faith Impaired… May not be Christian, Definitely not Catholic, Nor am I Jewish, Neither am I Protestant, Episcopalian, or Methodist… I do not support nor do I negate the religion of Islam, I respect them all, be they a religion of the new order, Or a religion from the past like that of Amish or something from over the border… Even Satanism I do not protest nor do I attest too, As long as they do what they do, without my knowledge, My personal knowledge I did receive from classes in college, There I did form my religious beliefs, or the lack thereof, Although I do support, but only in a non-orthodox status, The belief I seem to have within the Buddhist apparatus… So while I do not believe like “most”, I try to live like the bible does speak of and host, Just as Christ and Buddha are most likely one in the same, Or at least they do talk and compare notes, that’s not too lame, I am happy with my choosing, I try not to preach, As for me that would be to my friends and to those I do meet, Something in the vein of relationships I would breach… © ed ~ 9/15/04

interesting perspective communicated clearly, Ed. we're all pretty much faith-impaired, even us "true believers" or adherents to whatever religious practice. what matters I think is what you've captured here: not shutting the door, remaining open to faith and doubt, thoughtful consideration and respect of others. best,

Great way to be :-) I have been harrassed at work by a religious person and I brought it to my manager's attention. Wow, shock was I at how upset she became. Very protective of her girls :-) I don't think I will have to be worried about being bothered anymore.
