These are but birth pangs, ever increasing, as contractions come one upon the other before delivery, so will the increase of tragic events.

Ed, I am impressed by the depth of your thinking re the current state of the world. The events of the last many months certainly make me wonder what message we on earth are being sent. Nature is a friend or an enemy, as the many situations show. The values society has accepted leave much to be desired. Perhaps it is time to get back to the basic principles of living. Your work is certainly showing growth. Keep writing. Your Dad would be proud of your accomplishment. Take care. Mrs. C.

I do believe this is the time predicted but I do not believe it is an ending. It is a changing. One we may not understand fully until it is over but I am still convinced we are heading into good times. BTW an unusal amount of nasty virus's have broken out in the north. I belive the cause is from Glaciers melting due to warmer weather. I suspect the people in the north will become stronger because of this and be able to handle what ever is coming. Good points and questions you have addressed. We are all wondering.

Hmmm... first off, Ed, I don't think God will ask if you've been bad or good...my guess is, HE KNOWS! (smile)

Also, I don't believe anyone will be left behind, because He loves us all.

Except for tsunamis and earthquakes, we can't blame God for the global warming or the dangers that nature faces... that is our own faults! As long as we place our greed for "things" and material 'goodies' and we don't care if we destroy habitats or if animals become extinct, we will not know peace with nature.

These horrors in the news are amazingly shocking and sad. Every prayer possible should be said... and money and goods sent. Every little bit will help. katy xox.

Your words are good, and questions well posed. Thanks for that. Now, Ed, the answers are something else, again. For me, its the old world showing its age, or perhaps, renewing itself. After all, the ancient ball has been spinning for eons (zillions of years), and none of us has figured out the whys or the future. This has been a big one, but who can tell if it is anything but plates shifting around to make our old globe a better world. Tragdy beyond description has come to earth people. Let's build a better and more friendly planet on which to live with each other without wars and mad-made calamities.

I personally believe the End Times probably draw near, as prophesied in the Bible, and in many other documents. I also believe this to be true since mankind has become too self-centered, too hateful, and too non respectful of Nature, Creation, and our Mother Earth.

Can we change things and put off the Apocolypse - Probably - But will we finally be smart enought to do so - that is a far bigger question.

PS I'm sure God will already know that you are a good human, Santa.

Deep thoughts Ed, Personally I do not think a mythical god can have anything to do with it. So it is down to nature and mankind can take a lot of the blame.
Your words Ed deserve the powers that be to take note.

Interesting thoughts and good questions, Ed. Either way, all of us only have a short time on this earth. Everyone begs for God's mercy on their deathbed.
