Okay, so I’ve not got cancer,

Death is not staring me in the face,

With life to get things done I am not in a race,

What I have got though there seems to be no answer…

I have only been this way for two weeks,

Holding tight I have been my rear two cheeks,

Pads of sorts in case of leaks,

Have had to develop for sleep a whole new set of techniques…

The doctors have to me recommended,

Many an odd way to deal with this “virus”,

Energy dealing with this I have greatly expended,

I cannot away stay from the toilet for any time extended…

Is it depression or a lack of indiscretion,

That I herein say I wish a cure from the medical profession,

Before I start to show the world a side of my aggression,

That they would not like to see,

Nor realize is anywhere within my personal possession…

Ed,

I hope you feel better soon; being sick is NOT fun. But this IS a cheeky, funny write; very well done! (As they say, laughter makes the pain [0r discomfort] go away! They also say that it is good for whatever ails you. So laugh away!!)

(((HUGS))) and much love (and prayers), your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

Seems like you are full of shit huh??

Nothing can be as bad as a runny rummy tummy...wish I could be sure my remedy would cure you.....
1 flat coke number one...
2 imodium....
3 casteroil..your tummy needs a backwash...sounds silly but you know maybe you ate something like a orange or a corn...and the flake sits on the "lining" and causes infection..happened to a family member of mine...the mother went bezirk when I gave this child a dose casteroil...but the doctoer told her I saved her life!!
Just a thought...hope you feel real good real soon my friend!!

Love Tinka

We hope that you will get better very soon. At least you can still put it in words in a great way!

okay time to get serious

I will now write a ditty
to stop your shitty
try eating a little bitty
of something that's gritty
and doing something witty
now on yourself take pity
go to bed with your kitty

(sorry Rufuz;-)!

Hang in there, Ed. It'll pass. Have Rufuz fetch your slippers and read the funnies. Think positive thoughts. Get a jigsaw puzzle going. Get out your card table and put together a scene. Bet you haven't done that for years! Get better, Ed.

Yes there is a real nasty bug in the air. A side affect I believe from global warming. The glaciers are melting, germs are now free. How to get past this? Eat foods that are known for solification and do not eat or drink anything that is known for the loosening of bowels. Refrain from drinking anything with caffine in it. Oh boy I am glad I don't have this one! and like I have mentioned......keep positive thoughts flowing. I see you healthy once again! :-)
