Sorry folks, gotta dump this somewhere or suffer the ill effects internally...

Poem Artwork

Faced with eviction,

Never wanted friction,

Though within a year I have a prediction,

Out of this park I will be & that’s not science fiction…

Rufuz is well trained enough to walk off a leash,

But rules and regulations say he needs one,

The new manager did make it clear,

Though she did so with condescending sneer…

She made her point,

This place feels like a prison joint,

But when the summer does end,

Rufuz and I will walk equally again as friends…

I never put Jazz on a leash. When the State Park demanded one, he promptly got tangled in my wheel chair and it took two park rangers fifteen minutes to extract him. Of course, if he ran free by the water, the gators a got him for sure.

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
