Try do I to write of flowers,
Of sweet & sugary prose,
Of romantic scenes,
Of family & teens…
Find do I that I have therein no talent,
Every now and then though I seem to write most gallant,
Though give me a funny picture & you will feel the words fly,
Give me a joint to smoke and of humor you can see me get high…
Watch me whip out words in a minute mile,
Trying all the time to make you smile, at least for a while,
Let me know you found it to be full of humor,
And it brings out in me the best I can give,
Funny pictures I always for later put on file…J

It's so easy to ponder our inadequacies. Gosh ... I do it every time I write or create art. I do it every time I look in the mirror as a matter of fact.
Touching the heart of another is the most important thing as far as I'm concerned. There's not much of that left in the world. And it's good to know exactly who we are, and what we can do, and then press forward undaunted into those dark areas to try and break new ground.
