Poem Artwork

Early morn, darkness still,

Moon did set, get your fill,

Brightness rising, better than prescribed pill…

Six thirty in the wee hours,

Can’t sleep, no today showers,

Winter time as well no flowers…

Back aches, legs throb,

Snacking on corn on the cob,

The sun does of the night rob…

I will start getting up at the crack of dawn next week. Am now among the employed :( or is it :) Either way, gotta be up before my heretofore 8 am. Yuk!!!!!!!! My Dad always got up at 5:30, even when he was retired. Old habits die hard. Oh, well, hope your day was as bright as the sunrise.
God bless you. Kathy

Great picture...dispite the aches and pains we have as we get a little older, when we can wake to a sunrise like that, means life is not so bad.

Take Omega 3 Fish Oil 1000 mg.
everyday, it will ease the pain in
all your joints and restore brain cells...
Listen, don't just say oh yeah and
not take the fish oil.
your Rufuz loves you, so do what he say.

The night is when the underworld likes to play with us. Sleepless nights is one way they do this. Take some Tylenol PM. It always works for me.

What the Hell??!! You haven't gotten up this early since you were two, and you wet your diaper. And I should know, I had to change it!
Take that corn cob with you, and go back to bed, Bro.

PS Early Rising Truly is a Sign of Old Age.

So you are up before the sun, too, eh, Ed?? Coolness; glad I'm not the only one (got up at five-ten!)! LOL Very well penned; bravo!

Lovely pic; just beautiful! I love to watch the sun rise and the moon set; we had a nice, fat one last night! Karla took pictures of the moon.

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
